An improv-based Animal Jam Classic roleplay set in a town in a temperate climate in a world of anthropomorphic animals.
Anthropomorphic animals in this roleplay age at the same rate as humans, & pretty much just act like people, though they may still have some animal behaviors, like having the urge to chew or scratch things. Their body language is primarily human (with all the cultural & individual variations that entails), but with some animal body language mixed in, too. Meals are made of ingredients tailored to whatever species they're for. Anthropomorphic animals can be diurnal even if their species isn't typically diurnal in real life, but nocturnality is much more normalized & accomodated in the world of this roleplay than it is in ours. That isn't to say diurnality isn't normalized or accomodated; all kinds of circadian rhythms are accomodated here in Skosby! Thanks to modern technology, anthropomorphic animals don't typically need to hibernate or brumate anymore, though they still can if they actually do happen to need it or if they just really want to. Anthropomorphic animals in this roleplay have senses at least on par with that of humans, sometimes even better depending on the species.
Anthropomorphic animals in this roleplay can both talk like people & make whatever sounds their species can. Anthropomorphic animals in this roleplay are all roughly the size of humans, though smaller animals are more likely to be on the shorter side & larger animals are more likely to be on the taller side. Your character can be any animal, including extinct & fantasy creatures (though they can't have magical powers unless I give you permission), and have any color or pattern even if it's not necessarily realistic for their species to look that way. Hybrids of any combination of species are allowed, even if such hybrids aren't possible in real life. Non-anthropomorphic animals of all species still exist in this world alongside the anthropomorphic versions, and these non-anthropomorphic animals are where meat comes from. It's not considered normal in this world for anthropomorphic animals to eat each other.
